She’d witnessed the good, the bad, and the ugly of club life, and she’d gotten close enough to the flame to get burned. She should know better by now not to put her heart on the line, but it was already too late for that. Hips flexing involuntarily—or maybe completely on purpose—Curtis didn’t even try to hold back his pained moan. “I want to fuck you so goddamn hard.” “Then do it,” Bambi urged, surprised at herself for encouraging him when there was no way this could end well. They had so much water under the bridge, broken trust being among the biggest of their problems. But she wanted him. God help her, she wanted him so bad. It was as if all of those nights she’d tossed and turned, dreaming of this moment had finally come true. How could she turn him away now, when it was within her grasp? “I don’t think you understand,” he said darkly. “I want to ram my cock in you so hard, you see stars. I want you to scream in pleasure and in pain. I want to hurt you, dollface, just like you hurt me.” He squeezed her breast again, releasing a warm rush of milk that soaked his hand and her shirt. “I want to see your pretty face stained with tears while you beg for more.” Yes! Janine Infante Bosco knows how to write a book. She had me hooked from page one. Drifter is the first in the Nomad series and man does it start this series off in an amazing way. This is a strong book to start the series with giving you a read full of painful pasts and fighting to overcome the demons.

There's a war going on and the roller coaster of a ride Janine takes you on will keep you at the edge of your seat.

Stryker has gone through and seen a lot, more than one man does in his entire life. Gina.. that girl she is spunky, a spitfire, and strong. She can hold her own in a "man's" world.

Seriously this is the book and series to be watching for. Cannot wait to see what is next in the Nomad series.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” “Saving you.” “Pray tell, from what? The evil leprechaun who lives in your pub?” He continued dragging me out to my car, as if I hadn’t spoken. We stopped at my SUV and he looked extremely uncomfortable and royally pissed off about something. I dug around in my purse for my errant keys, counting the seconds until I could escape this never ending nightmare. “Well, thanks for saving me from whatever you were saving me from. I gotta run now.” I unlocked the door and went to get in when he spun me around and caged me up against the side with his hands. “Brennan, what the—” He silenced me with a growl and a punishing kiss. I was so surprised, I gasped and he took advantage of my open mouth to deepen the kiss with his tongue. His beard gently scratched and sparked across my skin, awakening feelings in me that had long since gone dormant. My hands instinctively went to his chest to try to push him off, but it was then he changed tactics and moved to my neck. My area of weakness. My Achilles heel but on my neck, if you will. Oh, he did not fight fair. Whatever the hell he was up to, he was in for it if he thought he could silence me with a kiss. A damn fine, hot as hell kiss, but still.
