Release Blitz - No Excuses by Nikky Kaye

Maddie's rules for attending a work retreat:

1    Pack the right clothes. Especially extra underwear.
2    Don’t try to school your insanely hot boss on acceptable trust exercises.
3    Be prepared for the extracurricular ropes course.
4    Make sure there is a safety net when you fall, because you will fall hard

Gage doesn’t appreciate how hard it is to be his right hand woman—especially when I’m spending so much time with my own right hand, fantasizing about him. My demanding, control freak boss is testing all my limits, and I don’t know how long I can stay professional.

No Excuses is a hot, full-length contemporary romance, featuring blindfolds, rope play, food fights, and sexy architectural features like wainscoting. As in all Nikky Kaye books, cheating is not allowed, but some funny stuff and a HEA are non-negotiable.

He moved close to me, our bodies nearly touching. I kept my eyes on his chest as he gently draped one of the ties around me, cool and soft on the nape of my neck. The tiny hairs under my ears stood up at the feel of the silk sliding across my skin. Every sense I had was on high alert.
He smelled like fresh laundry, and a trace of something else lingered on his skin. It was almost like the scent of paper, or an overworked photocopier. I felt the heat from his hands close to my throat, and the hairs on his forearms tickled my collarbone for an infinitesimal moment.
My attention remained focused on the buttons of his shirt. I was very worried that if I met his gaze, my hyper awareness of him would shine out of my eyes like a flashlight.
“We’ll just leave this here for now,” he murmured, flicking one end of the tie against the underside of my chin. “Are you ready?”
Not even remotely.
I nodded mutely, but I let out a little gasp when his fingers touched my chin and tilted my face up. It was so tempting to screw my eyes shut, like a little girl trying to pretend that something didn’t exist if she couldn’t see it. I’d had plenty of practice with that before.
But he wouldn’t let me retreat. He looked at me directly and without guile, as usual. What was a little different this time, however, was the way his eyes darkened into stormy seas.
“Trust me.” His simple words wormed into my heart as his warm breath landed on my lips.
My voice cracked as I said, “Mister Gage.” It wasn’t an answer or a question, a protest or a plea. I honestly didn’t know what I wanted to say, and whatever was building in me halted as he lifted the other piece of fabric to my eyes.
He smoothed his thumbs across the strip of silk over my eyes, spreading out from the bridge of my nose to my temples. The tie was held firm between his fingers—those nimble fingers that paused in my hair briefly before they met again at the back of my head.
“Is that too tight?” he asked as he pulled the half-knot.
The sound of the silk rubbing against itself whispered in my ear. I shook my head. His hands clutched my hair and held me still.
“I’m not done.” His fingers tangled in my hair as he finished tying, pulling a few strands just enough to make me suck in a breath.
He froze. “Did I hurt you?”
“No.” My nipples hardened into tight buds as his breath washed over my forehead. “I, uh, no,” I repeated.
Gage had never touched me this much in the whole time I’d been working with him. Just the memory of his hands in my hair was enough to make me wobbly in the knees.
He dragged his thumbs across my covered eyes again, like a parent wiping away their child’s tears. Tracing his index fingers lightly over my eyebrows, he made an indistinct but satisfied noise.
“I can’t see anything,” I complained.
I was so blind that I flinched when his mouth dipped to my ear. “Good,” he chuckled.
Reflexively I swayed toward him, like a flower toward the sun. He pressed his thumbs gently into my cheekbones, then his fingertips left a trail of fire down my jaw and neck. On the journey he slipped the other tie from where it dangled around my neck, and pressed it into my trembling hands.
“Tie me up,” he ordered in a low voice.
Yeah, those were words I definitely never expected to hear from my boss’s mouth.

Release Blitz - The Naughty Step (Billionaire Book Club #) by Nikky Kaye

I didn’t bargain on a roommate, especially not my alluring, naïve little stepsister. She wants to get to know me better, but what she’ll discover could send her screaming in the other direction—or screaming underneath me.

Summer in New York is hot enough without her panties melting, too. I warned her that curiosity killed the cat, but then she reminded me of the rest of that saying—satisfaction brought it back.

Whoa, is this a Murphy bed? That’s so cool!” She reached for the handle and pulled the wardrobe sized casing down.
Fuck! “No, don’t—” I jumped to my feet.
She blinked at the narrow black leather mattress and the array of riding crops, restraints and floggers swinging in the recessed space around it.
“Oh.”
My body burned with a paralyzing combination of irritation and white-hot arousal at the sight of her fondling the dusky leather blooms of my favorite rose flogger. I had to give her credit, though. No matter how red-faced she was, she still turned and looked me in the eye.
“Mr. Grey?” She lifted an eyebrow.
“You’re hilarious.” I shoved her aside to swiftly close up the play area.
The awkward silence that followed rivaled the one between my father and I after my mother had left—and that one had lasted two years. It wasn’t until she followed me out to the living room that I realized she’d retained the rose flogger.
My gaze followed it as she swished it against her thighs. “Nathan, what—”
I held up my hand, and her mouth snapped shut. Good girl. Silently, I turned over my palm and extended my arm for her to give me the flogger.
Zoe shook her head and pressed her lips together, lazily swirling the toy around in an unpracticed figure eight. Likely she didn’t even realize what she was doing, but my body tautened nonetheless. In the thin pajama pants I wore, my problem would become obvious soon.
“You know, something I didn’t understand about that book, movie, whatever…”
I sighed. Clearly she wasn’t about to relinquish it without a debate. I needed to regain the upper hand—literally.
“What did you not get, Zoe?”
Holding the base of the toy in one hand, she wrapped her other hand around the falls and twisted them experimentally. Then she plucked one rose out and held it up. “First, how did that girl manage to graduate from college without having a laptop? Seriously. That’s totally unrealistic.”
I perched on the back of the couch, bemused by the beginning of her rant. This should be interesting.
She added another leather rose to her impromptu bouquet. “Second, did she spend all her money on fancy underwear? In the movies, she’s always taking it off. I did a drinking game while watching it with friends—every time she takes her panties off, we had to drink.”
“And…?”
“And we got wasted.” Her eyes rolled back.
A laugh escaped me. Little sis was adorably naïve. “You’re absolutely right,” I concurred. “What’s the point of wearing it at all?”
She pointed the flogger at me. “Exactly! And how did she not get a UTI from all that sexing? And please, he’s a billionaire?” She snorted. “He’s not even thirty!”
I snatched the toy out of her hand, making her jump. “Zoe, I’m a billionaire, and I’m only thirty-two.”
Her lips parted in surprise. “Really?” she squeaked. She shook her hand, her palm probably burning from the swift way I pulled the leather across her palm.
Oh, little girl. There is so much that I would love to teach you.
I was very aware of her gaze flitting from my face to the flogger swinging from my hand. More and more she was focusing on the latter. Interesting… It got even more so once she included the bulge in my pajama pants in her visual rotation.
I shrugged. “Well, on paper, and if you take the all commercial deals I’ve done into consideration. I’ve definitely moved more than a billion dollars worth of property.”
She blushed, her diatribe apparently at an end. “I’m sorry I, uh, intruded on your privacy. That—” She pointed to the toy. “—is none of my business.”
I hummed, holding out the flogger like a lure. “But you’re curious, aren’t you?” I beckoned her with the toy, the rosebud falls swaying and tickling my forearm. I loved holding it, reveled in swinging it.
“Maybe,” she whispered, reaching out to touch the velvety leather braids. Her eyes were wide, darkening from sky blue to a starry night.
Using the flogger, I reeled her in closer to me. She stumbled, falling between my spread legs. From my perched position on the couch, we were nearly eye level with one another. She was so close I could smell my shampoo in her still damp hair.
“Curiosity killed the cat,” I murmured in warning.
She licked her lips as I idly wound the supple leather around her wrist. “Did you know there’s a second part to that?” she asked.
I tilted my head at her, tightening the bonds around her wrist until she sucked in a shocked breath. “Really? Curiosity killed the cat…”
“But satisfaction brought it back.”
Yeah, I was in trouble.

Release Blitz - The Billion Heir by Nikky Kaye

LUCAS
I might be a brand new billionaire, but I'll be damned if I'm going to take charm lessons from former socialite "Sexy Lexi Kink-ade." She's getting under my skin, but now I'm stripping away her veneer to find the woman underneath.

ALEXIS
I might be living hand to mouth these days, but Luke's mouth on my hand isn't helping. Redeeming his bad boy image is my job, but there's something seductive about a man who can fight in a tuxedo and scare away paparazzi...

“Car’s not here yet.” She checked her phone, then looked up and me and blinked, as though seeing me for the first time. “Uh, you look good.” Her gaze slipped down to my chest and bright spots burned high on her cheekbones.
I shrugged my shoulders. With the jacket open and the top few buttons of the starched shirt undone, it wasn’t so bad dressing like a douchebag penguin. At least the loose pants hid the erection that always threatened me around her.
“Well, if you gotta junk punch somebody do it with class, right?”
Her eyes rolled up. “Yeah, real classy.”
“That’s me.”
She slipped the bow tie from my pocket and looped it around my neck, barely suppressing a giggle. I wished she’d do it again, so I could lock the sound in my memory bank.
“They took your tie?” Her eyes were focused on my neck. If I put my arms out we would be embracing.
“Yeah, guess they were afraid I’d hang myself in the holding cell or something.” I snorted. “I can’t even tie the damn thing.”
Fiddling with my collar, she whisked the tie back and forth with an audible swish. Her fingertips raised goosebumps on my neck as she tried to adjust me into something resembling an upstanding citizen. Her closeness was intoxicating.
Every day I noticed something different about her, something unexpected. Like the fact that the designer scarves she wore were probably older than her, or that the diamond studs in her ears were barely specks. Or that she took her cream and sugar with a little coffee.
Every day I edged closer to her, wanting to unravel all her secrets. At the moment she was unraveling me.
It wasn’t until she started buttoning my shirt back up that I grabbed her wrist.
“Stop it.”
Her eyes widened as she looked up at me. “I’m just trying to—”
“Yeah, honey, I know. But you’re going in the wrong direction.” I wished she were undoing my buttons—all of them.
Flirting with her had become second nature. The first time I leaned over her while she opened accounts for me on her laptop, the tips of her ears turned pink and her shoulders stiffened.
The second time was at the tailor. All I got were fucking suits and nooses in the form of pinstriped ties. I managed to convince her that I was uncomfortable with a dude taking my inseam measurement and only she could do it. I didn’t really think she’d do it, but she called my blush. I think her whole body blushed as she dropped to her knees in front of me and ran her hands up my thigh.
There was no escaping that I was very, very attracted to Alexis Kincaid. Scratch that. I wanted to fuck her against every vertical—and horizontal—surface in Manhattan, maybe even all five boroughs. But what had begun as just lust was shifting into genuine curiosity and admiration.
She was a tough nut to crack, but I’d let her crack my nuts any time she damn well pleased.
Ignoring the chaos of the precinct around us, Lexi crossed the ends of the bow tie around my neck and pretended to strangle me. “You’re impossible.”
“No, I’m very, very possible. Try me.” I flashed her a grin.
Her lips quirked as she stared at my chest, her fingers still on my buttons. “I’m not getting paid enough for this,” she muttered as her phone chirped. “That must be the car.”
Cool air and unspoken promises swirled between us as she stepped away from me to usher me out the door into the rain. I gallantly held the car door open for her. She jumped in and twisted around, her trench coat trapped underneath her.
“Get in, get in,” she urged from the back seat. “This is no time to be a gentleman!”
“Well, if you say so.” I hopped in the back seat beside her, already damp from the spring shower. She didn’t scoot back that much, leaving us close together. In the darkness of the car, her knees touched mine. We both paused, a fragile bubble of anticipation around us in the quiet of the car. I heard, rather than saw her lick her lips, and her breath was short and shaky. It was about damn time.
“Luke—”
“You said it was no time to be a gentleman,” I reminded her, before covering her mouth with mine.

Release Blitz - Once Should Be Enough by Nikky Kaye

Are friends with benefits worth the cost?

My cocky friend Will doesn't believe that I'm frigid, but what does he know? His promises might make me shiver but it doesn't mean he can give me a happy. He's so confident he's betting me money on it, and a thousand bucks is a lot of money to a poor college student.

Once should be enough to taunt him with "I told you so," right?

But I didn't know he meant trying everything once...

This super hot 25,000-word standalone new adult romance novella has adult language and themes, and a happy ending (several, actually).

“Let me ask you something,” he said, squinting his eyes at me. I nodded hesitantly, and his hands splayed out further on my face. His thumbs drew together to almost touch under my chin, and his pinky fingers grazed my earlobes, sending a ripple down my spine. It was like he was studying the shape of my jaw, the line of my throat and the curve of my cheekbones.
“Have you ever been aroused?”
My eyes widened. “Uh, I suppose so? I’m not a virgin,” I reminded him. Technically.
He scowled. “You can have sex without being aroused, though it’s sure as fuck a bad idea. And you can most definitely be aroused without having sex.”
I opened my mouth to say something then closed it, to which he raised an eyebrow.
“Do you want me to list the clinical symptoms?”
No, I didn’t. His hands trailed down my neck, the pads of his thumbs coming to rest in the hollow at the base of my throat. Hopefully he couldn’t feel my heart racing.
“Maybe I’m asexual,” I suggested, a lump forming in the back of my throat. “I mean, I’ve never even gone to a bar and thought someone was hot.” I felt like such a freak. “Aren’t girls my age supposed to get drunk and want to get laid?”
He tilted his head one way, then the other, examining me. “It’s possible,” he granted. “But I doubt it. You’re getting turned on right now.”
“No…”
“Arousal is a physical reaction to stimulus, as well as a mental one.” While he spoke, his thumbs traced my collarbone on either side, back and forth, like he was rubbing a lucky penny in his pocket. “It’s easier to become aroused by someone you feel comfortable with already,” he informed me as I let out a little hum.
Then he must be wrong, I thought. I was feeling distinctly uncomfortable right now, like a cat whose fur was being rubbed the wrong way.
Bending his head towards me, he took me by surprise with a soft kiss to the corner of my mouth.
“What are you doing?” Oh god.
He leaned in again to kiss the other side of my mouth, but I was frozen in place.
“Testing your theory,” he said against my lips.
