I could not put this book down.. No freaking joke started it earlier today it is now 3 am and I just got done!! I couldn't sleep until I got to the end!! Freaking amazing

This book has it all romance, intrigue, suspense, twists and turns that will leave ur had spinning. You think you know what to expect but trust me it is far from it. So flipping unpredictable that it's crazy... Just when I thought I knew what was going on something completely different would happen.

By far one of my top 5 reads of 2015!!! Cannot wait to read more from Addison

I stand, pulling her with me, lifting her into the bridal position. Her right arm snakes around my neck, her other hand on my heart. The rain falling around us is getting heavier, but I don’t hear the rain anymore. All I can hear is my heartbeat thumping in my ears, like it always does when she’s this close to me.

“We need to get in and dry before we both catch our deaths.” I walk up the steps then cringe as I realize what I’ve said. She’s still crying but not as hard as she was. “I didn’t mean…” I begin.

She’s cried herself to sleep. The only noises coming from her as I walk up the stairs are little sobs now and again.

I kick the door open and lay her on her bed. Looking down at her, I debate whether or not to take her clothes off. I should really take her wet clothes off, but I think that would be inappropriate, so I get an extra thick blanket from the closet and place it over her. As I turn to leave, she whispers in her sleep something that stops me midstride. “Stay.”

I sit down beside her and she drapes her arm across my torso. I tense for a second but relax after a beat. I wait until she’s fully asleep before I leave. I didn’t want to wake her by moving her arm off, and if I’m honest, I kind of liked it there. It felt right.

I fall onto my bed after taking a hot shower. I stare at the wall opposite my bed, at the painting Sup and I painted a few years back. It’s the club’s emblem, a woman holding a dagger, with wings, in only a bra and panties. It’s the eyes I always stare at. Blue. I remember Sup being confused about why I had to have them blue. Much like my tattoo. I still have an obsession with blue eyes. The thing is, I’ve no idea why. Why blue eyes?

My brain finally catches up with the fact I’m naked in front of Cain for the first time in six years. I sit up in a rush of water and bring my knees to my chest, resting my chin on top of them.

“You... you shouldn’t be in here.”

“You wouldn’t answer me,” he says exasperatedly.

“Well, no shit. My head was underwater. That still doesn’t give you the right to just walk in here.”

“When you don’t answer me when I’m standing right outside of a wide open door, not to mention the fact this is my house... well, then I think I have every fucking right. Don’t you?”

“No, I don’t. You could have just peeked in and seen I was fine and waited. Was this some kind of ploy for you to get me right where you wanted me? Are you so afraid that the minute you turn your back on me I will up and try to leave? Are you going to watch my every move? Or did you have an ulterior motive in suggesting I shower, just so I could strip down naked and you could make damn sure I didn’t go anywhere? So tell me what the hell it is, because this back and forth, hot and cold game you’ve started is really starting to piss me the hell off!”

I glare up at him, not quite able to read his eyes.

What I do know is that the sexual tension between the two of us is so strong, it’s working triple overtime. There’s only one tiny little obstacle in our way... and that would be our past. The fact that I can’t trust him. He broke every bit of it the same day he broke my heart. One of us needs to give in, take charge so we can just fuck and move on.

Kathy has done it again with another book that will keep you on the edge of your seat all the way til the end. And even the ending will have you wanting more of this family. This book is not only suspensful but its got a love story mixed in with it all, lies, and secrets you never see coming.

At 18 Cain and Calla are married. Their parents have hated one another for a long time and when Calla told her parents she was dating Cain they forbade her from seeing him. But she was determined so for 2 years she dates Cain and once they are 18 they get married but on their wedding day Calla is faced with the most heartbreaking scene for anyone and flees.

Calla moves to Canada and now after 6 years shes back in her hometown with divorce papers. Shes been following Cain online and knows he took over his fathers MC club. When she gets there secrets are uncovered and like i said you can never guess what they are. Will the secrets Cain has been keeping break them apart even further or bring them back together? Can they salvage and repair what they once had at 18 and make it through all that is about to be thrown at them?
