Just thinking of this book now 2 days after reading it my jaw is still on the floor. I can honestly not put into words what this book made me feel and think. But I am going to try my best.
I have read all 6 (you kind of have to in order to understand everything) books 1-3 are Talon's story and great. But this one book 6 in the series but the 3rd one for Jonah was my absolute favorite. Helen Hardt cannot do wrong when it comes to this series. Each book will have you eager to get your hands on the next.
But Surrender... WOW. Helen Hardt hit it out of the park in this book. You get SO may questions answered and the answers that you get will have you literally gasping, saying no effing way (out loud), and if you're like me you will literally be knocked off the edge of the seat you're perched on.
Jonah and Melanie's story continues as well as finishes in Surrender. But is it going to be the ending you were hoping for? Be sure to check them all out. You will not be disappointed at all in any of these books. So ready for Ryan to have his story and see where Helen takes us next on this twisted story!!

Burn by Helen HardtMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
This book cannot be read as a stand alone. You must read the first 4 books. But this one, if you are following the entire series already.. well you will be blown away. The talent that Helen Hardt has to weave a story to keep you flipping page after page and wanting more and more is off the charts.
With this being the 5th book in the series there is honestly not much I can tell you about this book that won't give things away. What I can say though is that not only are we given some answers we are also questioning more. Once they get the answers to one thing it seems like 2 or 3 more things come into question. You are left on the edge of your seat all the way to the end and on the verge of throwing your kindle across the room as soon as you finish it. Its left at a part where your like wait.. what.. she cant end it like that.. we were just getting somewhere good. But oh she does.
Let me tell you, it is so worth it. Cant wait to see where Helen takes Jonah, Melanie and the rest of the Steele family from here.
