Part of me wants to go. To get back into the car, find Jase, and tell him everything. But the other part of me, the vengeful bitch—she wants to stay and soak up every last bit of pain and hurt coming from this grieving devil.
“Let me try and take your mind off things,” I whisper, putting my hands on Dornan’s shoulders.
I swing my leg over the chair, straddling him. His eyes are glassy and threaten to spill over.
“Close your eyes,” I whisper, trailing hot, wet kisses down his neck. He is drunk, and obeys me, much to my disbelief.
I smirk as his action has the desired effect. By closing his eyes, two teardrops are squeezed from his eyes, falling onto his stubbled cheeks.
I lean down, touching my lips to his right cheek. My tastebuds spring to life, assuaged by the sudden taste of salt water.
The taste of victory.
He took my father, my life, and now I have taken his oldest son from him. The taste of his sorrow beckons me, and I repeat my actions on his left cheek, this time darting my tongue out to catch his despair and drink it up, every last drop.
I rock on his lap, his erection already growing just from me straddling him. With my black funeral dress hitched up around my thighs, there is only a thin scrap of black lace and Dornan’s black pants separating us. He opens his eyes, and I sense he is surprised at the tender way I am touching him. In a way, so am I. But his sorrow, his devastation…it’s better than if I had tied him up and made him bleed for me.
Bleeding tears instead of blood, but it is all the same in the end. I will take every tear he has, every son, and then I will start letting blood.
“Sammi…” he breathes, digging his fingers into the soft flesh at my hips. I break out in goose bumps, wary once more.
“So hard for you it fucking hurts,” he says, staring me down with blazing intensity.
I suppress a smile as I fumble with his zipper, the material stretched to breaking point. As I tug the zipper carefully, his erection springs forth, a bead of pre-cum glistening on the tip. I grip him firmly with one hand, swiping my finger over the tip of his cock with my free hand. I don’t break our gaze as I bring my finger to my mouth and suck the salty fluid from it.
Sorrow. Devastation. Loss.
He digs his fingers deeper, the pain intensifying but still pleasant. It’s as if he is holding onto me for dear life, and slipping away.
I smile, and his gaze snaps, just like that, from sorrow and submission, to hunger and domination.
“You’re teasing me,” he says, lifting my hips forcefully. He leaves one hand on my hip and used the other to wrench my panties aside.
I’m so turned on. A sorrow fuck. Never is someone more vulnerable than when they’re underneath you, naked, exposed, and on the brink of coming.

The second scorching novel in the USA Today bestselling Cartel trilogy from the smash-hit author Lili St Germain.
They say love conquers all.
It's a lie.
Five days a week, I dressed in smart business clothes. I painted my face, and went to work as an accountant. But nothing about my life was normal.
For eight years I had been the property of the Gypsy Brothers Motorcycle Club. I laundered their money so well they'd never let me leave. My only glimmer of light was the man I loved. The man who had saved me.
Dornan.
His love had been the only thing that kept the demons at bay. But he'd become so immersed in the cartel's brutal business that I hardly knew him anymore.
Dornan had been my salvation, but he was also my undoing.
Would he pull me down into the darkness until he destroyed me? Could I save him?
Did I even want to?

EXCERPT
I recoiled as I felt her blood hit my cheek, the deafening roar of my gun something that was becoming far too familiar. Allie hit the dirt before I’d even blinked, the force of the bullet sending her straight onto her back.
Above the steady drum of the rain, I heard movement outside. Jesus. Was she still alive? I opened the door as quietly as I could and slipped out, pressing it shut behind me. The rain was brutal, and I could barely see in front of me. I circled around the back of the pickup, gun at the ready, my eyes searching for any movement as I rounded the corner of the truck and happened upon Allie. There was blood coming from her mouth, and she had one arm outstretched, reaching clumsily for her gun. In her dying moments, she didn’t look like a bitch anymore. She looked like a sad, lost little girl, and I silently cursed Murphy for pulling her into this hellish existence. For the first time, I realized that she was younger than me, just a young woman who fell in love with the wrong man. Don’t we all.
She saw me, and her hand reached for the gun more desperately. Before she could grab it and take a shot at me, I placed my bare foot on her wrist, pinning it to the ground.
She looked up at me, her eyes sad.
‘I thought he loved me,’ she choked.
I nodded, crouching beside her. ‘That’s the thing about men like Murphy,’ I said softly. ‘They’re not capable of love, Allie. They only know how to destroy.’
She seemed to soften, her eyes closing momentarily. Blinking back tears, she gazed up at me. ‘I don’t want to die,’ she whispered. ‘I didn’t know.’
I nodded sympathetically, pushing her hair back from her face.
Before she could do anything, I placed my hand over her mouth and squeezed her nose shut between my thumb and index finger. Shock and realization lit up in her eyes as she thrashed her head back and forth beneath my grip.
‘That’s the difference between you and me,’ I said to her, as she clawed at my hand and sucked against my palm for air. ‘I’m old enough to know better.

Judy's Review:

*****5 fabulously fabulous stars

Lili has done it again with another fabulous book!! Holy shit is all I can say… I mean seriously that is how good these books are. Now Cartel Book 1 and now Book 2 Kingpin are my first reads by Lili and holy goodness of all things mighty I will be jumping on her other series the Gypsy Brothers.

Dornan in this book ooh I hated him at some moments then loved him at others!!! In Kingpin he’s ruthless and even a little heartless… okay maybe a bit more than a little…

Mariana that woman.. holy shit she puts up with a lot (she kind of has no choice) but for all that she has gone through she’s still patient and just downright one kick ass person whose been held captive as long as she has been.

This book will take you and a wild whirl wind of a ride but it is so worth it. So ready to get my hands on Empire!!

Blurb
My father was most certainly NOT an innocent man. As the leader of the Gypsy Brothers Motorcycle Club, he was guilty of many things. But he died for a crime that he didn’t commit, framed by an enemy within who then stole his club and everything he had ever worked to protect.

Including my innocence.

When Dornan Ross framed my father, he set into motion a series of events that could never be undone. My father was murdered by Dornan Ross and his sons when I was fifteen years old.

Before my father died, Dornan Ross and his sons stole my innocence, branded my skin and in doing so, ensured that their lives would be prematurely cut short. That they would suffer.

I’ve just turned twenty-one, and I’m out for blood. I'm out for revenge.

But I didn't expect to fall for Jase, the youngest brother in the club.

I didn't expect that he would turn my world upside down, yank my heart out of my chest and ride away into the sunset with it.

Now, I'm faced with an impossible choice - Jase, or avenging my fathers death?

**This bundle contains all books in the Gypsy Brothers series plus a bonus exclusive novella.**

Excerpt #1
Confucius said, “Before embarking upon a journey of revenge, dig two graves.”
I planned to dig seven.

Sometimes I don’t think about it for hours at a time. Sometimes, a whole day will pass, and it’ll be there, under the surface, burning my insides with the brutality of its truth. My truth.
And I’ll get home from my dead-end job in this dead-end fucking town in the asshole of Nebraska, and I’ll have almost made it through a whole day of not thinking about it, about my father and Dornan Ross and his sons.
But then I’ll do something without thinking, like undress to go to bed, or slide under the covers of my bed. And I’ll see the marks they branded on my right hip – seven horizontal lines, each stacked on top of each other, made by casting the blunt edge of a butcher’s knife into fire and then pressing it into my flesh. A line for Dornan Ross and a line for each of his six older sons. Notches on a bedpost. Scarred for a lifetime so that I can never forget. Some are thicker than others, some short and others long, but each one a devastating reminder of everything they took from me that night.
Even if I stay in my stale clothes to avoid seeing my scars, I still can’t escape them. I never sleep well. I toss and turn, fitful and drenched in sweat, awakening from nightmares where they find me and turn the knife to the sharp side. Where they don’t just brand me – they cut me until I am dead, so I won’t talk to the police. I know things, see.  I know things that the police don’t, about purchased alibis and body disposal spots, about too many girls who went missing and too many men who kept too many secrets.
I used to wish every day and every night to forget about my fathers murderer and what he did to us. Not anymore. Now I want to remember every tiny detail so that I can exact my revenge.
Tomorrow is different. Tomorrow is my twenty-first birthday, the day I gain access to my secret inheritance. The several hundred thousand that my father managed to hide before Dornan framed him for the murder of a policeman and his family, a crime that Dornan and his eldest son committed as retribution for a drug bust that almost wiped the club out. It might be dirty money – my father wasn’t above money laundering and drug manufacturing – but it was his money. Dornan managed to seize control of the rest when he enacted his devastating betrayal.
Tomorrow is truly my birthday, for I will become another person. Today my name is Juliette Portland, but tomorrow I will wake up as someone else entirely.
Someone who will bring Dornan Ross and the Gypsy Brothers Motorcycle Club to their knees.

Excerpts for ALTERNATE: A Gypsy Brothers Novella

DORNAN

I see the panic in her eyes, and it makes my cock throb.
Yes. It’s my turn now, you silly little girl.
I’m going to twist her diabolical fucking soul until she’s completely at my mercy, knees on the ground and mouth on my cock, sucking and begging for forgiveness all at the same time. There’s going to be so much more blood in our future, and it’s going to be beautiful.
“I know you think this is going to be bad,” I say, pleasure and rage sizzling in my veins, “but however bad you think this is going to be, it’s going to be So.Much.Worse.”
alternate 7.jpg

JASE

There’s something to be said about a person who’s been put in hell and doesn’t lose themselves.
But what if you find yourself there instead?
“Say it,” Chad said, sliding one finger inside Rails so that she flinched. Even with the drugs, the rough way he was poking and prodding at her must have hurt. “Say you’re no better than us. Say you’re one of us and I’ll let her go.” I looked to Rails, but she wasn’t even there. Whatever drug was in her bloodstream, it looked effective.
“I’m no better than you.” I ground out.
“And?” Chad prompted, snaking his tongue out to lick Raelene’s earlobe.
I shuddered.
“And I’m one of you.”
“One of what?”
“A fucking Gypsy Brother!” I screamed.
Normal men don’t want to hurt the women they love.
Normal men don’t have a darkness inside them.
But I’m not normal. I never was. I might’ve been patched in by force, but it doesn’t change the fact that I’ve got GYPSY BROTHERS forever etched into my skin, and their blood running through my veins.
I might look like a good person on the surface, but it doesn’t change the fact that I’m Dornan Ross’s son.

alternate 8 use.jpg

ELLIOT

Why’d we have to meet the way we did, in a goddamn nightmare? She was so beautiful and passionate in the moments her demons weren’t dragging her beneath the murky waters and drowning her. Selfishly, I wished she would try harder to be that girl who laughed and said funny things, dazzling me with her smile, instead of the girl who held my gun in her lap and willed herself not to eat it.
“It’s okay, Elliot,” Juliette said, trailing her hand over my cheek. “I’d leave me too, if I could.” I swallowed back all the words I’d never be able to say to her.
