This is my first book by Charisse and it did not disappoint!! Freaking loved it. Its Dark, its dangerous, mysterious, sexy, intense, emotional and oh so good. I could not put it down. I kept on reading until my eyes told me you need to stop we cannot read another word without closing, but as soon as i woke up i was back to reading it again.
Kaston and Lux are not only amazing together they are explosive. Kaston has met his match in every sense of the word with Lux. Shes a take no shit kind of girl and she gives as good as she can get. neither of them had the greatest of childhoods. While Kaston was put into a better one at the age of 8 Lux had to stay in hers until she graduated from high school.
The characters are very well developed and you can feel all the emotions they go through whether it be Lux or Kaston.
Kaston is not only sexy and dangerous but hes all alpha which just adds to his appeal. He is not a hearts and flowers kind of guy and well Lux is not the hearts and flowers kind of girl. But Kaston when met with right girl (Lux) he cant stop thinking of her. He wants to know all he can about her. Lux is a little more reserved on opening up who she use to be thinking that once he knows all of her dirty secrets he will no longer want her.
It was only suppose to be a sexual based relationship nothing more, exclusive with each other but not confessing love to one another. Can things change between these two hardened heart people or will they continue on with their agreement and look the other way at the end?
Brilliant book by Clarisse and I for one cant wait to read more of this series as well as more of her books. If you havent 1 clicked this book today i highly suggest it if you like a dark read!! AMAZING
