This is the first book I have read of this series as well as by Kasey and I fell in love with it. So this is based only on this book and not the ones Kennedy had previously appeared in. I don't know all of Kennedy's back story and how she use to be or what all she has done but this book did give you a little insight and man she was a straight up b!tch to her sister when she was younger. Since then she has grown as a person and although her sister has forgiven her there are times she doesn't believe she should be.
Kye was a top football player and he played the game hard as well as his life. He had an issue with drinking and it was never just one. When trouble landed him at the hope center as his condition for no jail time he met Kennedy and started turning his life around.
But just when you think everything in your life is perfect something always bites you in the ass. Will Kennedy and Kye be able to get through this current situation or will it be too much for her to handle?
Would definitely recommend this book to others. And I know after reading this one I will be going back and reading the others from this series to learn what everyone else's stories are.
