He scoots closer, which makes me lean away. I don’t know why. I find him wildly attractive and an asshole at the same time. Maybe I just don’t know which one to pick.
“Are you scared of me?” he asks, his brows drawing together.
“No …”
“You know … I can tell when people lie to me,” he muses, sliding as close as he can until I feel the side of his body against mine. “You don’t have to lie to me. I won’t hold it against you if you feel afraid.”
“Maybe,” I say.
“Maybe …” he repeats, “I can do something to fix that.” His finger slides up and down my arm softly, caressing me, alerting all my senses. “I know I can be a little overwhelming.”
“Yes,” I say, my tone higher when his hand moves to my neck.
“It’s only because I like to get what I want … and I know exactly what I want,” he murmurs, leaning in to me until his lips hover near my ear. “You.”
I melt into a puddle, right there.
“But …” I don’t know why I’m trying to fight. It’s as if I’m desperate not to fall for his charms.
“Shhh …” His finger moves to my face, brushing along my cheek. “You don’t have to say anything. You’re scared, and I know that … scared to find out what could happen.”
His lips are suddenly on my neck, placing soft, tantalizing kisses on my skin. He’s slow and gentle with me, not at all what I’m used to, but god, does it feel good. Compared to my previous boyfriend, who always went in and out and cared only about his own pleasure, this is a breath of fresh air.
“You’re so sensitive,” Adrian whispers, placing another kiss on my neck. “Like you’re desperate to give in to me but afraid of what it could lead to.”
“I am,” I mutter.
“If you want me to stop, all you have to do is say the word,” he muses, placing his hand on my leg. He slowly slides it upward, awakening all my nerves. My head leans back instinctively as I suck in the air, feeling his touch. God, it’s good and so wrong … but the good feelings are definitely winning here. When he reaches my inner thigh, I’m almost unable to prevent the moan from spilling out.
“But you don’t want me to stop, do you?” he whispers, planting another kiss just beneath my ear. “You like what I’m doing to you. How I’m making you feel things you’ve never felt before. How desperate you are for more makes you confused. But you don’t have to be. Let your objections go and focus on my touch.”

This series.. WOW there are no words to describe it. I'm still trying to decide how to put into words what I want to say. I loved this book and the characters.

Lets start with Leo King that man ooh I wanted to hate him and love him all within a few pages. He is the broody, sexy, alpha, domineering and his mouth.. holy hell even just reading it his talking made me blush at times. Extra panties are needed ladies for this man. But we also see a sweet side of Leo when he ends up having to grovel and win back Sam and show her what she truly means to him.

Sam is strong and feisty and I absolutely adored her. Throughout the story she grew to be even better. I love her banter with Leo and the chemistry between them. Holy Hotness on a stick!!

These two could light a match without a flame thats how hot they are and can be together!!
