Feeling good, I stormed off. But I did sneak peeks at him for the rest of the night and hated that he caught me each time.
Who cared? I wouldn’t ever see him again.
Imagine my surprise the following morning when my new boss turned out to be arrogant, sexy-as-sin Trace Prescott.
If I didn’t need the job, I’d quit, but I was stuck, and I refused to let his ripped body or good looks seduce me. I was a professional and would act like one. Yeah… easier said than done.

I noticed her right away, bending over the bar ordering her drinks in a black dress that hugged all her curves just right. I didn’t expect her to turn on me like a wildcat, cursing and telling me what a jerk I was to her friend. It took me a moment to figure out which friend she was talking about.
Women were drawn to me, and that suited me just fine. I loved being with them, and I always made sure I left them smiling and with memories that would last them a lifetime after I moved on.
I was great with seducing a woman just not so good with relationships.
But the way the feisty chestnut-haired woman yelled at me, got to me. She was a challenge, but she stormed out before I could make a move on her. Too bad.
Not for long. Guess who worked for me?
Yep, the sexy wildcat.
And I couldn’t wait to start taming her.

This book blew me away. I've been a fan of Chiah's books for a while and going into this one I wasn't sure what to think since it wasn't her normal MC book. But, I am so glad that I took the chance. Once again Chiah takes you on a ride and gives you a book you will love.
The characters were easy to love and while Trace comes off as a major playboy, jerk through most of the book, there is more to him than just that. Chiah gives us a side of Trace that no one sees and you just can't help but swoon at his character.
With the no fraternization policy at the company, they try to keep away from one another. And on top of it, Cierra was told so many bad things about Trace that she is torn between what she's been told and how her body reacts to him. But, the no fraternizing isn't the only obstacle these two must overcome. There are lies being told, a traitor, stalker, family issues, a best friend who may not really be the friend everything thinks she is, and oh so much more.
I was addicted to this story and if you are like me once you start you won't want to stop reading.

Chiah Wilder is the author of Hawk’s Property, the first book in the Insurgents MC Series. It is a full length, standalone novel. Its release date is set for October 27, 2015.
