Another amazing read by Chantal!! I cannot get enough of this MC. So for those of you who wanna read this book but have not read Dragon’s Lair i suggest you stop and read it first. Yes each book is different characters but in Dragon's Lair things happened that tie into this book. It is easier to understand having read the first book. You obviously do not have to but who wouldn't want to Chantal's book are fabulous!!
Arrow was put through hell 5 years ago and more most of his life but 5 years ago he lost the only woman he wanted to love and of course he hadnt told her soon enough how he felt before she was gone forever. He lives a very lonely life. Just basically a shell of a person to the point hes not even having sex like a normal single club member would. My heart literally hurts for Arrow and what he puts himself through in this book. If he were the type I would hug that man as long as i could.
Anna is the little sister to MC member Rake who just came back to town to attend college and to pick up her relationship with her brother. Anna is very feisty, and has a quick tongue when it comes to talking back and sassing people. She doesnt take much shit either that she cant dish back.
there is an attraction between Arrow and Anna one that cannot be denied but Arrow does all that he can not to show it. Anna is the first person since Mary to make his body react and make him think. Anna gets caught up in some things and when trouble comes knocking Arrow realizes how deep his feelings run. Will he keep them hidden like he did before and never get the chance to tell Anna how he feels or Will he tell her and run the risk of having issues with Rake? So many different ways this could turn out. Dont waste any time get your copy today.
