Crystal's review: This is my first Lisa Suzanne book I received for an honest review. My first thoughts are Wow what a ride.
Our heroine CC/Jimi/Roxanna is the daughter of a rock star, always watching her back to make sure she is not being used for her connections. She's a very strong woman who has been hurt in the past.
Our hero, Parker James is a newbie Rock star who has an electric connection to Jimi. He's a deep dark dreamy rock star.
Vintage Volume 1 takes us through a ride with several unexpected twist that add up to a great start to this series. With love, hate, danger, betrayal, and much, much more it's a true page Turner.
My only dislike of th we book is the sex scenes did not flow for me. It was more like reading cliff notes then experiencing the passion experienced between Parker and Jimi.
I'm very much looking forward to volume 2 and seeing what happens next with this couple
Lisa Suzanne started handwriting her books on yellow legal pads after she took a creative writing class in high school. She still has those legal pads full of stories, but now one of them is published under the title How He Really Feels. She currently works as a full time high school English teacher, and her favorite part of the year is summer. She has been blessed with the world’s best dog, a supportive family, and a husband who encouraged her to publish after reading one of her novels. She likes the advice of Ernest Hemingway’s famous quote, “Write drunk. Edit sober.”
